DAD’S WORD: REFUGE

DSCN9918REFUGE: It is good to be home again to a place of REFUGE. There was a strong wind storm last evening and it is still quite windy today. As I looked out the window this morning, there beside a tree limb that had fallen to the ground sat a baby robin who was taking REFUGE from the wind. As I watched, soon the mother robin came and was feeding the little bird who felt secure and sheltered from the storm.

There are times when the storms of life seem to overwhelm me then I read that “True security is found only in the Lord who is my rock in whom I take REFUGE, my shield— He is my stronghold, my REFUGE and my savior. Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take my REFUGE. Psalm 16:1. “He who fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for his children it will be like a REFUGE.” Proverbs 14:26.  Remember that a fathers’ godliness results in a blessing for himself and for his children. Have a great day, LULD.
