Wise: Dad’s word of the day

WISE: 2018 will have its challenges requiring many choices. I ask God to give me a WISE and discerning heart as He did for King Solomon. (I Kings 3:16). To be WISE is to have a great understanding of people and of situations that require unusual discernment and judgment in dealing with them. (Webster). “A WISE man’s heart guides his mouth, and his lips promote instruction.” Proverbs 16:23. “Who is WISE and understanding among you?  Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from WISDOM.” James 3:13.

My son, “Be very careful, then, how you live—not as UNWISE but as WISE, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15. As you make executive decisions today, and this year, remember that God will give you practical insight. I know that you are WISE. Have a great day, LULD.
