GODLY: As a young man I would always carry a New Testament in my front jean pocket. Some folks thought I was carrying cigarettes and would get upset with me when they asked for a cigarette only to be shown my New Testament; others showed respect and thanked me for living a GODLY example. I Timothy 4:7-8 says, “Train yourself to be GODLY—GODLINESS has value for all things.” GODLY people are devoted and faithful to God. (Psalm 4:3).
My son GODLINESS is a genuine reverence toward God that governs one’s attitude toward every aspect of life. As you live a holy and GODLY life make every effort to be at peace with God and your fellow man. (2 Peter3:11). Have a great day, LULD.
